While NERS does not offer designated online or distance degree programs, we provide a range of online course options to support student flexibility and success. In the B.S. in Nuclear Engineering program select core courses and electives are offered online to help students remain on track for graduation while participating in co‑ops, internships, or other off‑campus opportunities. At the graduate level nearly all of our courses include online sections, enabling working professionals and students engaged in research collaborations with companies, national laboratories, and other institutions to continue progressing in their studies. These online offerings are designed to maintain the high academic standards of our in‑person courses while accommodating the diverse needs of our students.
